The Milwaukee Bucks might be missing their star power for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Both Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who were selected as All-Stars this year, are questionable to play.

Lillard just got added to the latest NBA’S injury report with a bruised right rib, while Antetokounmpo has been battling Achilles tendinitis but was previously expected to suit up.

Although Bucks coach Doc Rivers says Damian Lillard participated in the pre-game warmup, it’s unclear if team doctors will allow him to play tonight. This news comes from Mark Medina of The Sporting Tribune.

Bucks coach Doc Rivers isn’t too worried despite the injury report. According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Rivers told reporters he expects both Lillard and Antetokounmpo to suit up for tonight’s game against the Lakers.

The Bucks face a tough decision with their All-Star duo. Lillard and Antetokounmpo average a whopping 55.1 points together, a huge gap to fill if they can’t play. While Damian Lillard’s backup Patrick Beverley brings strong defense (a plus the Lakers might exploit), his offense pales in comparison to Lillard’s firepower. Similarly, Bobby Portis could stretch the floor if he replaces Giannis, but he can’t match Giannis’ elite defense and ball-handling skills. The Bucks will have to choose between offense and defense if their stars are sidelined.
